On the last day of school, teachers lined up in the rain in the First Baptist Church parking lot to say goodbye to their students in a reverse parade.

Teachers are packing up their classrooms this month after leaving them nearly a month ago. There's no students, there's no celebration. It's just quiet packing time.

Standing 6-feet apart, teachers in Burlington, Kentucky, waved goodbye to their students.

This decision left some students and teachers with no time to say goodbye. On Thursday, dozens of teachers in Fairfax County, Virginia found a fun-loving way to see their students one more time.

Many school doors across the country will not reopen this academic year due to COVID-19. That means teachers won’t get the chance to say goodbye to their students.
