In a move designed to attract and support children’s book authors and self-publishers, Amazon has launched KDP Kids, a children's-focused illustrated and chapter book category in the Kindle Store.

Along with the program, which is aimed at helping authors prepare, publish and distribute books in the Kindle Store, Amazon is also releasing a new tool, the Kindle Kids’ Book Creator.

To publish a book on Amazon, create a Kindle Direct Publishing profile connected to your Amazon account, upload a PDF or use the Kindle Creator tool.
