Choose All New Documents in the first drop-down menu and Microsoft Office Word 2003 in the second menu.

The default document settings in Word 2010 create documents with the necessary margins and justification, but you have to do a bit more formatting to create a document with full block configuration.

In Word 2010 and Word 2007, you create brochure templates from new documents or from pre-designed templates that you modify.

Word 2007 and Word 2010 added interesting features for styling a document, but the tools were scattered throughout the user interface, and they were difficult to use.

But changing the programs’ default font—the one that comes up every time you create a new document—isn’t so obvious. I’ve tested the following instructions in Word 2010 and 2013.

The option on Word 2010's Print Preview screen to shrink the document to print on a single page is no longer visible by default, but you can add the option to the Quick Access Toolbar.
